Well, I am not a great fan of celebrity brand perfumes so I had no hopes of liking this perfume at first. Also the name Fancy generally impresses upon the product being opposite of what it is usually named. But upon sniffing it the first time, I was pleasantly surprised.
As the name indicates, Fancy perfume by Jessica Simpson is well …. Fancy. Jessica Simpson Fancy is the singer’s first debut fragrance after her previous ventures from country singer to pop star. It has officially been described as floral oriental or Florentia with the gourmand and fruity floral scent. As is rightly described, it really is a “sensual fragrance that is feminine, versatile and memorable“. With the first application, fruity medley notes can be easily detected, with the mix of caramel and vanilla sweetness. It’s fruitier than floral since it’s very sweet and candy like. It smells young, mature and sexy at the same time. It delivers a pleasant, classy ultra feminine fragrance. This perfume is long lasting and stays consistent to the scent after the initial dry down.
So, if your woman likes floral, fruity, warm or sweet scents, this Fancy by Jessica Simpson is highly recommended. Jessica’s Fancy is definitely worth a sniff.
